My name is Edie Simbeck. I live with my husband in Salt Lake City, UT. I worked as a mainframe programmer for over 20 years and decided it was time to get my Bachelor's Degree and find a new career that is more dynamic. I attended school online with the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and received my degree in Web Design and Interactive Media in September of 2010. It was a challenge as is the ever changing landscape of my newly chosen field and I love it!
I am also an amateur photographer, occasional oil painter and I foster kittens for the local Humane Society. I grew up in the Chicago area but the mountains have always called to me and 18 years ago my husband and I moved out to Utah so that we could enjoy the close proximity to many ski resorts, hiking practically on our doorstep, and new sports interests such as mountain biking and rock climbing.
